Communications Development has been designing Web sites since 1994, a long time in a relatively new field. In that time, we have seen many promising new technologies emerge—some changing the way we present information, some fizzling out within a month. While we work to master and implement the best of the new Web capabilities, our focus has remained and will remain content—communicating it clearly, maintaining editorial integrity, and developing new audiences. Our belief is that good content is inherently valuable, and that a flashy site with little to say will not keep visitors coming back.
