Communications Development has released ClearEdits® 2.0. ClearEdits—a Microsoft® Word plug-in—edits your document with a click of the mouse. It allows you to improve your writing in a fraction of the time it would take to do so unassisted. And you can customize ClearEdits to catch the problems that plague your writing most, ensuring maximum impact and improvement.

Automated scoring, a new feature in version 2.0, gives writers immediate feedback on performance in several editing categories related to clarity and conciseness. Other new features include improved editing categories, checklists, statistics, and more sophisticated rules that reduce the number of false positives.
