Development Incorporated announces publication of Foreign Aid in
the National Interest Winter 2003 Commissioned by USAID Administrator Andrew S. Natsios, the report draws on the best minds of development, democracy, and governance to address the critical development challenges facing the world in the next 10 to 20 years and the adjustments the United States must make to meet them. Written primarily by leading development scholars and academics outside USAID, including Larry Diamond of the Hoover Institute, Michael Porter of Harvard, Peter Timmer of University of California-San Diego, and Carol Adelman of the Hudson Institute, the report reconfirms the critical link between national security and foreign assistance. Communications Development planned, designed, edited, and produced the report. The full report and an executive summary can be found on USAID's web site, http://www.usaid.gov.
